Last 3 weeks was the family day for faculty business. The objective of the activity is to increase bonding between inter part in the faculty. There are many activities during that day such as chair dance, football, and tug of war contest.

Unfortunately for us there are other several pictures that was corrupted by the virus.these are among picture that can be save. the event lasted for 2 days that consist of competition day and the day of giving away prices.
Anyway, the event was the best event in the university that we manage to join.
MOUNT SENYUM
Mount Senyum was first opened as a 'recreational forest' on the 14th July 1989 and was officially managed by the Temerloh Forestry of Pahang. Apart from its matchless tree species, Mount Senyum too offers attractive and unique landscapes such as the mysterious caves to explore, as well as jungle trails to follow.
Mount Senyum Recreational Forest covers area of 794 hectares and is located in compartment of 1, 2, 3 and 4, Jengka Forest Reserve.

Here, in Mount Senyum you can find two limestone hills, namely Mount Senyum and Mount Jebak Puyoh.Mount Senyum stands 550m high. There are more than 20 caves in the hill which can be explored. Some are archaeological sites.
Mount Jebak Puyuh is further away and offers an exciting jungle trek to reach its caves.
Even through Mount Senyum isn't well known among visitors, the Mount Senyum Recreational Forest is an interesting destination for those interested in caving and trekking.
There is a Hutan Lipur Rangers office by the car park and camping ground.

During last saturday, our group went on a trip to mount senyum which is 40 km from Jengka Town.As for our group we have manage to find sometime to explore the cave in Mount Senyum. There we manage to explore several caves in there such as 'gua silat','gua angin' and the famous 'gua kolam tujuh' and also a tomb that belongs to 'makam tok long'. There's a mystery that shroud gunung senyum. The story behind Tok Long is that he had married 'Puteri Bunian' from gunung senyum. As he had went not back to his village for a long time,he ask permission from puteri bunian to went back. His wife give permission to only went back for only one month. Tok Long also have a family at the village so and he spent time with his family there. Unfortunately he forgot that he only have one month. So he can't go back to his wife. As the result of great frustation of cannot return to his wife, Tok long resides at Mount Senyum untill he died there. The legend of the story goes back form the 15th century.

Review : After hiking for an hour, we only manage to explore to only several cave. Besides that we don't have the proper attire to go up the top of the mountain. To go up there,we are required to have permission from the park ranger. If you are thrill seeker and like adventure, then Mount Senyum would be the most suitable place to visit as its is also one of the treasure in Malaysia.
